In a surprising collaboration that defies conventional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Uncovered

According to the authorized release, "An unusual confrontation leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where rumors of forbidden practices and fearsome changes reverberate through the darkness." The narrative presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a secret group.

The adventure concentrates on "bizarre trials and a fearsome adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Changes

The teaser features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview finishes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, probably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Additional Features

Players who accomplish the adventure will acquire an unique katana together with multiple objects secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
